Golf influencer reaches out to $218M-worth Jon Rahm & Phil Mickelson to help fan with terminal cancer

$218M-worth golfer Jon Rahm (via Forbes) and the legendary Phil Mickelson are two of the most popular golfers in the world. Both golfers have a lot of influence, and recently, a popular golf page on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) reached out to them to help a fan with terminal cancer.

The popular golf page in question is Tee Times. On the Elon Musk-owned social media platform, Tee Times posted a screenshot of a post from Reddit. In the post, a Reddit user wrote about their brother, who is a golf enthusiast but is suffering from terminal cancer.

As per the post, the user has arranged for their brother to play at Pebble Beach. But they also mentioned their brother has a desire to play at Cypress Point. However, the user noted that Cypress Point is known for its exclusivity and requires a member reference to play.

The user was looking for some leads or connections to make their brother’s wish of playing at Cypress Point come true. The user noted that this event would ideally take place between January and May 2025.

In the tournament held in Spain, Rahm was the runner-up, while he finished T7 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. After four rounds, Rahm scored 65-71-65-69 to finish T7.
