Ric Demands Investigation Into Heather’s Botched Lab Results

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) delivered the bad news to Heather Webber (Alley Mills) that her lab test taken from General Hospital did not reveal a significant change in the amount of cobalt in her bloodstream.

As viewers know, Heather had a faulty hip replacement several years ago that caused her to contract cobalt poisoning. It’s been theorized that the cobalt in Heather’s blood might be responsible for Heather’s recent murder spree as the serial 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁er known as “The Hook”.

General Hospital Spoilers – Heather Webber Was Compassionate To Ric Lansing

The first step Heather’s attorney Ric took was to order a blood test that would see if the cobalt levels in Heather’s blood had changed significantly since her faulty hip was replaced.

Ric had to break the news to Heather that the results showed there was little change in her cobalt levels, so he didn’t see a way forward with her case.

Heather was upset and a bit angry, but she quickly turned compassionate when the subject of Ric’s granddaughter came up. Heather was so sweet to Ric that he decided to have Heather’s blood tested at another facility.

GH Spoilers – Ric Lansing Discovered Something Disturbing

Ric asked Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to look at both sets of results and she was able to confirm that they were wildly different even though they were taken from the same blood sample.

Elizabeth suggested that Ric have several other labs run the test so the true results can be determined. Once Ric gets all those results back, he’s likely going to realize that the result from General Hospital were doctored somehow.

Look for Ric to demand an investigation. Elizabeth might also have some suspicions of her own.

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson Has Everything To Lose!

The person who almost certainly altered Heather’s lab work is Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr). Portia believes that Heather should never get out of jail and that she will 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 again if she ever goes free.

She’s the Co-Chief of Staff, alongside Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) so she’s will likely be above suspicion at least at first. But it will likely be her credentials that come up when an investigation begins of who accessed Heather’s records.

She may have made it easier than ever for Heather to go free, and for Portia herself to spend some time behind bars,

What do you think?

Should Heather go free? Will Ric demand an investigation at General Hospital? Will Portia be caught? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
