General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has dug herself into quite a hole. A rushed decision to throw the gun she found in Kristina Corinthos-Davis’s (Kate Mansi) purse over a bridge has bitten her in the butt, and now she’s paying for it.

Still, from the sounds of it, things will get a whole lot worse for this character before they get better.

What if she’s not released to attend Sam’s funeral? This may cause Alexis to spiral.

Even if Sam passes away after Alexis is cleared and released, her daughter’s death may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back when it comes to her sanity.

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Digs Into Her Dark Side

Alexis will eventually be released and found innocent on the charges she’s in Pentonville for. After all, she didn’t shoot John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) and the truth will come out at some point.

Still, how dark will Alexis get, service time in prison and after Sam’s death? Fans could see a transformation in the lawyer as she was booked in Pentonville, mug shots were taken, and she had to trade her clothes in for a prisoner uniform.

Will Alexis lash out at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) – assuming he doesn’t come forward and isn’t the reason behind her release? Will she grow some resentment toward Kristina? Possibly Molly? Could her mental health spiral? Could she decide to take her own life, or potentially, start drinking again? The storyline plot twists are endless …
