Los Angeles Lakers Sign Alex Fudge

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Alex Fudge. Terms of the contract were not released.

Fudge (6’8”, 200) appeared in six NBA games as a Two-Way player for the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers last season, averaging 2.5 points in 6.7 minutes. The 21-year-old also suited up in 33 NBA G League showcase and regular season games for the Texas Legends and South Bay Lakers in 2023-24, averaging 8.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 18.5 minutes. Fudge scored in double figures in 13 of those contests, including a career-high 18 points for South Bay on Dec. 2 at Salt Lake City. Fudge most recently suited up for the Dallas Mavericks’ 2024 summer league team, appearing in five games and averaging 4.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 13.1 minutes.

The Florida native played collegiately at the University of Florida (2022-23) and Louisiana State University (2021-22).
