Tiger Woods’ leg scar was visible at the U.S. Junior Amateur tournament

Tiger Woods, the 15-time major champion, may not have achieved the results he hoped for in 2024, but his resilience and determination to return to his previous form has been a major focus for the golf icon. Throughout the year, Woods has maintained a positive outlook and consistently praised his physical improvement.

“I’ve gotten better,” Woods said to Golf. “Even though my results really haven’t shown it, but physically I’ve gotten better, which is great.”

On Monday, Woods was seen supporting his son, Charlie Woods, at the U.S. Junior Amateur at the Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan. He was wearing shorts that revealed large scars on his right leg, which are the result of a car crash in February 2021.

The scar, which is right below the kneecap and goes all the way down to his ankle, is a stark reminder of the seriousness of the crash.

Social media users are discussing Woods’ scar, serving as a reminder of his journey back to the golf course.
