Max Verstappen’s girlfriend Kelly Piquet was overcome with emotions after his thrilling F1 win at Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The Brazilian model, 33, took to Instagram to share a number of photos and videos celebrating the Dutch star’s first world championship. Cameras captured Piquet crying and smiling with Verstappen and their loved ones.

After Verstappen passed Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton in the final lap for a dramatic finish, he threw his arms in the air and ran right to Piquet, who was waiting nearby. The couple hugged and kissed in a sweet moment captured on the official F1 Instagram.

Other photos show PDA moments between 24-year-old Verstappen and Piquet, who turned 33 last week.
Piquet, in her Instagram caption, called Verstappen a “WORLD F–KING CHAMPION,” adding, “NUMBER 1” in the caption of a second post.
She also reposted videos she was tagged in while at the race, including one that called her the “most supportive partner” to Verstappen.

Piquet began dating Verstappen at the end of 2020. They went public with the romance in beach photos she shared to Instagram on Jan. 5.
The model previously dated former F1 star Daniil Kvyat from 2016-19. The exes share a 2-year-old daughter, Penelope, whom they welcomed in July 2019.

Piquet is the daughter of racing legend Nelson Piquet, who won three F1 titles in the 1980s.
