Cristiano Ronaldo is supposedly in the twilight of his career, but he’s showing no signs of slowing down following yet another goal for Portugal.

Portugal, who sit unbeaten at the top of Group J, have already sealed their spot in next summer’s tournament in Germany.
However, they are on course for a 100 per cent qualifying record with ten wins from as many games, and Ronaldo was at the heart of the action once again.
Lichtenstein hosted the Euro 2016 champions on Thursday night and the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was first on the scoresheet.
Diogo Jota played a neat through-ball into the path of the onrushing 38-year-old, who then fired his strike into the roof of the net.
It was his tenth goal in the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign, taking him level with Belgium star Romelu Lukaku, and fans were quick to laud him.
Taking to X, one said: “Tight angle? Weak foot? F*** it, I’m Cristiano Ronaldo.”
“Aren’t we witnessing greatness?” asked a second as they continue to be dazzled by Ronaldo’s quality.
A third said: “People had the cheek to call him washed. What a f****** finish.”

“My goat,” a fourth simply added along with the relevant emoji.
It was also his 128th strike for Portugal in what was his 204th appearance for his country ahead of their final Group J game against Iceland on Sunday.
Back at club level with Al Nassr, Ronaldo has already scored 16 goals in 17 matches for the Saudi Pro League side.
He has also provided nine assists during the campaign so far, with the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend still shining.
Ronaldo’s former Juventus teammate Joao Cancelo scored Portugal’s second goal of the night as they ran out easy winners.
