Man Utd have suffered back-to-back 3-0 defeats to Man City in the Premier League and Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.
As a result, pressure is mounting on the head of Erik ten Hag, who SunSport revealed has hauled in his flops for one-on-one talks to try and solve the issues.
Whether those talks have been effective or not remains to be seen.
But they certainly didn’t appear to have lifted the immediate mood as the team made the 157-mile trip down to London.
The likes of Marcus Rashford were pictured arriving at Stockport station ahead of the journey.
Last season’s 30-goal ace was seen wearing the club’s tracksuit along with a white hat and headphones, but there was a distinct lack of Friday Fever as he sat alone on a bench at the station.

And despite appearances, Ten Hag has claimed his Man Utd players are in a positive mood.
He said: “They [players] are positive. They want to put this right and we know the standards here.
“We have to match them every day, we’ve had two big setbacks, but we’ll fight back.
“The dressing room is strong, the staff are strong and this manager is strong.”
Recently returned Aaron Wan-Bissaka and forward Anthony Martial went one step further by wearing coats, perhaps in anticipation of Storm Ciarán.
Casemiro, who SunSport outlined as one potential candidate to become club captain after calls from Roy Keane to replace Fernandes, has not travelled following his midweek injury.
He has joined Tyrell Malacia (knee), Lisandro Martinez (foot), Amad Diallo (knee) and Luke Shaw (muscle) on the sidelines.
In the background to all of this, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been outlining his plans for the club with his 25 per cent investment set to be announced.
