The future of Mohamed Salah at Liverpool is in serious jeopardy. The Reds reportedly rejected a transfer proposal for about €150 million to get the Egyptian icon from Al-Ittihad. They would need to replace him with someone, and Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior has been mentioned as a possible option.
Since Carlo Ancelotti took over as manager, Vinicius has made tremendous strides. Since Karim Benzema’s departure, he has gone from being an inconsistent Brazilian wonderkid with limited impact on games to being one of Real Madrid’s most reliable providers of goals and possibly the face of the club.
As a result, it’s tough to believe Real Madrid would ever consider trading Vinicius. Liverpool, however, appear to have been given reason for optimism.

According to SPORT, there is yet hope for Vinicius on Merseyside. As long as there is a chance of signing the Brazilian, Liverpool will keep waiting for him to sign an extension to his contract, something he has yet to do.
For Real Madrid’s superstar, Liverpool was a last-chance.
There have been rumors about Vinicius signing a contract extension since last year. There has been no formal word as of yet.
Why the delay in announcing an extension, if one has been signed, remаins a mystеry. There were rumors at first that the club was holding it back to use as a morale booster after a disappointing performance in a major game.
Many similar opportunities have passed since then, but there has been no announcement. It’s only natural to question whether or not a contract renewal has actually been signed.
