Visitors at Bolton Wanderers FC stadium found themselves doing a double take after spotting the Premier League’s top scorer last season at their football club this week.
Erling Haaland, Manchester City stalwart was seen on Wednesday, September 13, at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers.
The striker, fresh off the back of scoring for his native Norway in a 2-1 win over Georgia on Tuesday, traded Oslo for sunny Bolton as he appeared in what The Bolton News understands is an advert for headphone company Beats by Dre.
He was spotted getting off a coach with a pair of Beats headphones on, surrounded by camera crews, before repeating the sequence.

Alfie Haaland, father of Erling and ex-Man City, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest star in the Premier League, was also seen with his son.
One resident said: “He was there doing an advert, it is interesting to see. He was in Norway playing the night before, so must have flown back in the morning.
“There was a crowd around the coach, a fake crowd set up for the video. He was getting off the coach in a scene, the fans were cheering him as he walked away, and then he came back to do it again and again.

“It was just one of those moments, you thought fair play for using Bolton. Whether they will advertise it as Bolton or use CGI to make it look like somewhere else is another question.
“But when you see the advert go out, you will know that it is in Bolton. It’s just great to see the town used for filming.”
He added: “Haaland was also there with his dad, Alfie Haaland, you could see them standing together.”
