On Thursday, September 7, Rihanna unveiled her newest Fenty collaboration with Puma. The singer/business mogul shared the news on her Instagram, stating, “we are back… reintroducing the Avanti. #FENTYXPUMA.”

The “Avanti” shoe is inspired by soccer footwear and comes in two different versions. One is a striking silver-metallic colorway, while the other is a sleek black leather with tan and gold trimming. The collection pays homage to the legendary Brazilian soccer player Pele, as Riri was specifically inspired by him while designing her collection for Puma.

She also expressed her love for the sport, saying, “Football is a universal language that brings people together from all over the world, all walks of life, and I wanted to pay homage to that.”

This is not Rihanna’s first collaboration with Puma. In 2016, she partnered with the brand and released her first shoe collection, the “Creepers.”

These platform versions of Puma’s iconic suede shoes became a huge hit among fans. One fan even expressed their excitement for the comeback of Puma X Fenty, stating, “She’s about to revive Puma.”

The highly anticipated “Avanti” shoe collection is set to release on September 15 and will be available on puma.com and in-store retailers.
