General Hospital’s Robert Palmer Watkins: Time for Dillon to ‘Come Home and Give Tracy a Hug’

If there’s one thing that can be said about losing a loved one, it’s that it tends to bring people together. That’s as true in daytime as it is in real life. And it’s certainly been true on General Hospital as Monica’s friends and family mourn her passing! While Monica’s official farewell begins today, the folks of Port Charles have already been reeling at her loss.

General Hospital alum Robert Palmer Watkins wants Dillon to support his family after Monica's death

Tracy, especially has been taking the loss hard and breaking down and Jane Elliot has been absolutely crushing her scenes — and our hearts! If there was ever a time for her to be surrounded by her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren — and we mean all her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren — it’s now. Ned and granddaughter Brook Lynn are there, of course, but there’s still one person missing: Tracy’s son Dillon!

While The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Scott Clifton (Liam) originated grown-up Dillon back in 2003, Robert Palmer Watkins last played Tracy’s grownup son from 2015 to 2017. And Watkins clearly still has a soft spot for the Quartermaines and his onscreen mom!

The actor posted a photo of him with Elliot on his Instagram page, writing, “Does Dillon need to come home and give Tracy a hug? I hear it’s been a sad week with Monica’s storyline. She will be so missed. I’m glad her character is being honored so well. And I hear Tracy is crushing her scenes! Miss ya, TV mom.”

It should be no surprise that the response from fans was a resounding “Yes!” But as of right now, we haven’t heard if Dillon might be popping in to support his mom and say farewell to his aunt. (We do, though, have a strong suspicion that Monica’s heretofore unknown sister might be visiting, though!)
