Big things may be in store for Charlotte!

We finally got a glimpse of Charlotte on General Hospital, and surprise — she has a new face! Bluesy Burke is now playing the teen, and she may be front and center for a while.

Who Is Charlotte?

Charlotte’s parents are Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), but she believed that Claudette (Bree Williamson) was her mother for the first eight years of her life. Her mom is a Spencer, and her dad is a Cassadine. The families are notoriously enemies. They each fought for full custody of their daughter but were ultimately given joint custody.

The young girl displayed troubling behavior in school when she bullied her cousin, Aiden (Colin Cassidy), and brought a snake to a 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day party. She may have some sinister Cassadine traits, but she has also had a lot of trauma. Charlotte witnessed her dad throw Ava (Maura West) off the parapet, she was kidnapped by the evil Peter August (ex-Wes Ramsey), and her mom went into a years-long coma. Lulu and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) tried to give her a normal life, but that was hard because Valentin was her dad. She was eventually shipped off to boarding school.

Charlotte’s Recent Past, Present, And Future

Charlotte lived with Dante and Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco) for a while while Lulu was in a coma. One Halloween changed everything. Her Grandpa Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) brainwashed her into stalking her dad’s girlfriend, Anna (Finola Hughes). Things went very wrong when Anna shot her, not knowing it was her, because Charlotte broke into her apartment. She survived, but it was back to boarding school for Charlotte.

She later went on the run with Valentin, just as her mom was waking up from her coma. Lulu became obsessed with bringing her daughter home. After a while, Anna and Jason (Steve Burton) brought Charlotte back to Port Charles, and her dad went to prison.

After reuniting with Lulu, Charlotte seemed to disappear. We didn’t see her, and Lulu never mentioned the daughter she traveled the world to find. That is all changing now. Valentin’s daughter has reemerged, and it looks like big things are in store for her, along with Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Rocco (Finn Carr). Are you happy to see Charlotte back on screen?
